Sewon Intelligence announced on the 4th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hyundai Motor Group's Global Software Center for cooperation in AI-based smart mobility technology.
The agreement was concluded last month. Under the MOU, the two parties will pursue joint research and product development, patent collaboration, and expansion into the U.S. market, leveraging their respective technological expertise and know-how in the field of smart mobility.
As part of the collaboration, the two companies will jointly carry out AI-based data analysis and algorithm enhancement projects, with the goal of co-developing next-generation AI mobility solutions for in-vehicle integration. Notably, the project will utilize radar sensors and Qualcomm chipsets to monitor the driver’s condition in real time and apply technologies designed to detect and prevent drowsy driving and reduced attention at an early stage.
